Nicole Vandewettering

Nicole Vandewettering is an innovative artist with a deep passion for glass mosaics and modern technology. Her journey began with traditional techniques passed down from her mother, Mari Vandewettering. Nicole attended interior design school where she developed an interest in rendering, modeling softwares, and computer-aided drafting. After graduation, she worked in a wood shop, drafting designs for luxury interior architecture and programming CNC machines. This experience ignited her fascination with using CNC technology in art, particularly for creating the glass mosaics her family had been making for decades. Nicole aims to incorporate waterjet programming and computer-aided drawing into their traditional mosaic process, enabling more art production for sale alongside her mother. As the website developer for Precision Art Glass Studio, Nicole seeks to share their unique craft with a broader audience, fostering creativity and expanding the studio's capabilities. Her work exemplifies the harmonious blend of artistry and technology, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in glass art.
